WongTune$, born Kayden Wong, is an Artist, Producer, Engineer and Educator hailing from Laurelton, Queens. As a multi-faceted creative, Wong is CEO of Extra Measure Entities, LLC which serves as a one stop shop for all audio needs. A veteran of almost a decade, having released his debut effort in 2011, Wong is a must hear artist and a must see performer. WongTune$ has been super active throughout his tenure, showcasing his talent on notable stages throughout NYC, such as SOB’s and the Highland Ballroom. Wong also participated in the Dean’s List Tour traveling to different universities throughout the country and was the opening act for Hofstra’s Music Fest where he opened up for acts such as Joey Bada$$, ASAP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots. Additionally, Wong has performed everywhere from prisons to churches in the USA and abroad. His global performance resumé includes touring with the likes of Christian Step/Dance group, the Nubian Gents & Feminine Fire and formally as a member of Regime Music Group.
What started as just watching music being made in his God-Father’s home studio eventually became WongTune$ emulating what he saw. Slowly Wong turned his bedroom into a full fledge recording studio, and recording turned into trying his hand at writing rhymes, solely for the love at the time. Before long, suggestions about his talent and potential ran rampant and WongTune$ began to believe he could go further. Since then, WongTune$ has been working on his career while simultaneously helping others with theirs.
